Diglett and Dugtrio are the #50 and #51 Pokémon in the Pokédex, making them one of the first generation Pokémon. Amazingly, these Pokémon haven't undergone any major transformations since then, other than the addition of the Alolan versions. Both the original versions and the Alolan versions can be used in low-level tournaments, and both are great Pokemon to use, if you use the right moves.
The original evolution line is just Ground-type Pokémon, but the Alolan line adds steel to the mix. Most of the time, these Pokémon will all use the same attacks. However, the list of best attacks may change as Pokémon evolve or in different weather conditions.
Remarks
- Ground attacks are boosted by sunny weather and steel attacks are boosted by snowy weather.
- These Pokémon can learn several types of attacks. These are best used depending on the weather. Still, for the most part, it's best to stick with Ground or Steel attacks.
