These games have tweaked how progression works, including how the EXP Share feature reacts to party Pokémon.
EXP Share impacts all party members in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Unfortunately, players cannot disable EXP sharing in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. If users don't want Pokémon to gain experience automatically, their only option would be to place their Pokémon in a CP and remove it from the party.
