Detect players while being a shadow, nightmare challenge

Epic Games offers new challenges with the nightmare event (Fortnitemares), including one asking you to detect players while being a shadow. As you will have noticed following the release of update 14.40 of Fortnite, new challenges have appeared with the Fortnitemares event, Frenchified in Fortnite: Nightmares. Although not difficult, since they are essentially new things, you may not know exactly what to do to validate them. Do not panic, we explain everything to you. Here, we will explain how to validate the challenge asking you to detect players while being a shadow.

How to detect a player being a shadow?

The challenge is relatively simple, since you normally already had to transform in shadow to validate one of the proposed challenges. When you are a shadow, you can't use weapons, but, to overcome your opponents, you have a few different characteristics, with boosted jump and speed, while having the possibility of seeing nearby enemies.

It is this small power that interests us, since you will have to use it 10 times for the challenge to be validated. It is therefore advisable to go to a place where there are many players, to quickly transform yourself into a shadow (by being eliminated), then to use enemy detection. Even though it takes 35 seconds to search for detection, you should be able to use it 10 times in one game, or even less if you detect multiple players at the same time.
