Fortnite: How to slide?

With the arrival of Chapter 3, several new things have been incorporated into Fortnite. Among them, we find the possibility of sliding, thus drastically modifying the gameplay. The third chapter of Fortnite is finally here. After various adventures, players were able to discover a new map, which is currently partially covered in snow, but things should change very quickly. But it's not all in the radius of novelties, which are, without too much surprise, very numerous. Several features have been added, such as the famous slide, which we find in other games of the genre, such as Apex Legends.

How to slide in Fortnite?

La slide in fortnite is quite simple, since it can be done at any time. Only, and you will have understood it, it is only really useful in steep reliefs. Sliding in Fortnite, on the slopes, allows you to pick up speed and therefore quickly flee a fight or, conversely, catch up with an opponent who is trying to outrun you. It is all the more useful as we can shoot while sliding.

To enable slide in fortnite just keep pressing your key to crouch (Ctrl by default on PC, R3 on PlayStation, right joystick only Xbox). If you have changed this key in the settings, you only have to use the key to crouch, no change is normally to be made on your side (in our case, it is the C key).


This new feature will therefore change some things in the battle royale, especially when players have fully mastered it. The slide will, no doubt, become very popular with gamers over time.
