Genshin Impact beginners don't have much to do; they can explore, defeat low-level enemies, and have a good old cold time; they can follow the story and go around. This all changes when they begin to increase their Adventure Rank, as the game begins to open up in different ways. Once players reach a certain rank, they will unlock the Adventurer's Handbook; Inside this book are, to begin with, the Experience and Boss tabs, but more are added over time. Experience is a set of mini-tasks, such as opening 15 chests and activating 4 waypoints, where once you complete them you get a reward. Once the list is completed, you move on to more difficult tasks for better rewards. The bosses tab is a different pot of fish, as only normal bosses spawn there, but over time elite bosses start spawning.
Elite boss
Elite bosses are the second most difficult enemies to fight in the game after world bosses Stormterror and Andrius; however, they still need skills and resources to be able to kill.
Unlike destroying normal bosses which can leave a pile of loot in their wake, elite bosses follow the same lines as ley lines, Blossom of Wealth and Blossom of Revelation - because when annihilated they leave behind them a flower for players to open. Unlike Ley Line Blossoms which cost 20 Original Resin to open, Elite Bosses Blossoms cost 40 Original Resin to reap the rewards inside.
All Elite Bosses reward players with 200 Adventure EXP, Mora, Companion EXP (Friendship EXP) Character Ascension Materials, and Artifacts, but these differ by level and the type of the elite boss.
World Tier also affects your rewards; if you are below Adventure Rank 20, your world level is 0, but between ranks 20 and 24, your world level is 1. Every 5 rank levels will gain a new world level. When a world level increases, the difficulty of enemies and bosses also increases. This also means that higher level drops will occur more often.
Reappears
These elite bosses respawn a few minutes after the player leaves the area in which the fight took place. You can just teleport to one of the other waypoints and it will reset. You can then engage in combat again, but you will have to pay more original resin to open the rewarded flower.
