Noelle is one of four characters available in Genshin Impact's new Hangout event series. If you want to woo this dedicated maid, use our guide to unlocking her six unique endings and maximizing your total rewards.
Hangout Event Series I: Noelle Guide
Before you can unlock Hangout events, you must have met the following requirements:
- Tier 26+ Adventure
- Have story keys (earn a key for every eight commissions completed)
- Completed the quest Archon: Prologue: Act III – Song of the Dragon and Freedom

There are six endings in total in Noelle's Hangout event, which means there are also six different photos you can collect by exploring each available route in her character quest. The Genshin Impact Hangout Event Series won't punish you for choosing the wrong option – in fact, miHoYo encourages players to unlock all endings by revisiting certain scenes and choosing different outcomes! Almost every game rewards you with primogems and the ability to collect more photos, so don't worry if you select the wrong choice the first time around. You can even unlock several achievements during Noelle's event.
Below, we've outlined the steps to complete each of Noelle's six endings.
A maid above the ground
When you first talk to Noelle just outside Mondstadt, choose this answer in response to her training request: “Sure, where do you want to start? »
Noelle will detail her daily steps and admit that something still seems to be missing. Tell him, “What you lack is strength! »
After a trip to the training grounds, you'll again have the option to tell Noelle what quality you think she's missing. Keep stressing that she needs to develop even more strength, leading to a mining and monster hunting quest. After smashing rocks and eliminating enemies, you'll reach the "A Maid Above Ground" ending.
The strength of a defender is his will
In the choice map, which is in your Hangout event's current route, return to the training grounds with Noelle. This time, when Noelle says her level of training isn't good enough, ask, "Is it because you lack real-world combat experience?" »
You will both be looking for learning experiences for Noelle. During your journey, you will meet a person attacked by monsters and you will save him. In doing so, Noelle discovers that the true source of her strength is her desire to protect others, allowing her to transcend her usual limitations. You will also get the achievement “…For me, I am bound to duty”.
Whisper of the Paper Rose
At the start of the Hangout quest, respond to Noelle with, "Sure, where do you want to start?" Then tell him what he needs is rest.
Agreeing to take a break, Noelle returns with you to Mondstadt to be accosted by a civilian named Bea, who is desperate to get Quinn's attention. When Noelle wonders what kind of gift Quinn would like the most, say, “Gifts reflect our intentions, we have to choose carefully. »
When selecting a gift for Quinn, you can choose between a squirrel wood carving or a bottle of icing. Choosing woodcarving will cause your heart gauge to drop by one, but there is no other effect on the quest.
Even after getting the perfect gift, Bea still worries about where her date is. You will be asked to visit and take pictures of three different potential meeting places. When you talk to Bea again afterwards, suggest that she have her date at Cape Oath. She loves the idea, but Noelle is disappointed that no one seems interested these days in visiting Windrise. You'll suggest the two of you go, leading to that precious moment when Noelle gives you a paper version of her favorite flower.

A riddle called love
Follow the first two steps from the previous ending and urge Noelle to rest. When the two of you speak with Bea this time, pretend that the gift “shouldn't matter, it's the thought that does”. As a result, you will prepare a grilled fish in Mondstadt for Bea to give to Quinn. Unsurprisingly, the gift backfires when Quinn refuses to accept the meal. An upset Bea comments that Noelle can't be good at everything. Sad, Noelle leaves for the library to study romance so she can be of greater help in the future.
A cold reception
At the start of the hangout, tell Noelle, "You know...it's okay not to be a knight." This will lead you to a quest involving a suspicious man named Alois. Despite his obvious lies and sleazy behavior, Noelle insists on helping the man and making him feel welcome in Mondstadt.
Together, you'll escort Alois around town to demonstrate what Mondstadt has to offer. When commenting on each new experience, reply, "It's made just for you." This answer seems increasingly threatening for Alois, who rushes at the first opportunity. His sudden disappearance leads to a disappointed Noelle, who blames herself for his untimely departure.
“Goodbye, Miss Maid!
Tell Noelle "it's okay not to be a knight" to start the Alois quest thread. When the three of you get to Mondstadt, keep responding to Alois by saying, "It's just Noelle's way of showing her hospitality." Repeating this calms Alois's nerves and makes him realize that Noelle has no ulterior motive to try to help him. This allows for a more satisfying conclusion.
