The Genshin Impact Tatara Tales world quest is long, requiring seven days to fully complete the questline. The second day quest, Tatara Tales: Priority Investigation, and the fourth day quest, Tatara Tales: Data Collection, oversee the placement and then the retrieval of three beacons from various locations around the Mikage Furnace.
Since the Mikage oven is full of twists, we've created a guide to simplify this process. Below are the three beacon locations.

From Xavier's post, follow the wooden path forward then climb the left ledge. On this platform are two Electrograna stations, along with a handful of Fatui enemies. Stay close to the Electrograna during the fight to avoid taking additional damage.
After defeating the enemies, interact with the highlighted area to place or collect the first beacon, depending on the quest you are on.

Cross the bridge directly behind the first beacon. Take the next electrogram there and keep climbing in an upward spiral. Ignore houses and buildings in this area unless there is an electrogram right next to them.
The second beacon location is at high altitude, near the top of the cliffs.

Once the second beacon is placed/collected, refresh your Electrogram timer, then head to the third beacon on your map (as shown below).

Jump off this cliff and glide towards the third beacon, which is at ground level. Drop down to the Electrogram below you, but be careful, there are even more Fatui patrolling this area.
As you approach the third beacon, more enemies will spawn, so be prepared.
After interacting with this third beacon location, you can return to Xavier and complete your current quest chapter.
