How to start New Game Plus in The Witcher 3
Step 1: Make sure you have the latest The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt update installed on your PlayStation 4. You will need this to use the new game + DLC.
If you're unsure if you actually have it installed, just press the options button on the PS4 dashboard icon for The Witcher 3, and press X on 'check for update', which will start downloading the latest update if it is not already installed. .
Step 2: Visit the PlayStation Store and download the new game + DLC. You can easily find it by visiting The Witcher 3 game page and clicking on 'add-ons'. This should bring up a list of all available DLC, then just click 'New Game+' and click 'download'. Luckily, it's a fairly small download, so it shouldn't take long to complete and install automatically.
Step 3: Start The Witcher 3 and load your last saved game. This save must be after the end of the main story. Once you load it up, go to the options menu and save your game. This save file can now be used for your New Game+.
Step 4: Return to the game's main menu and select 'new game'. From there, select your difficulty level and Witcher 2 saves the simulation as normal, then a third option presents itself. When asked if you want to start New Game+, select 'ON' then choose the save file you want to use.

Yes, the enemies are stronger in the new game plus of The Witcher 3. All enemies in the game will receive a level boost based on Geralt's level. The same goes for recommended levels for quests.

Yes, the equipment you find in the new game plus will be of a higher level, so the equipment from your old save will soon become obsolete. The same goes for Witcher Weapons and Armor, which you can craft at much higher levels in the new game plus - but you'll have to hunt down blueprints again.
