If you want to level up faster in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you'll need something called the Lucky Egg. Any Pokemon holding the Lucky Egg gets double EXP in every battle. If you have this by using the VS Seeker to fight trainers near Sunyshore (pre-Elite Four) or the Battle Zone (post-Hall of Fame), Pokemon can go from level one to level 60 pretty quickly. But where is he?
To find the lucky egg in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, fly to Snowpoint City and head to its subway. It's in a Pokéball inside the leftmost room in the area. This is the only free lucky egg you can get in the game.

After the Hall of Fame, you can also buy a Lucky Egg in the Battle Tower for 77 BP. It's a bit pricey, but the time you save by grinding EXP is worth it. After receiving the National Pokédex, there is even an Ace Trainer with a Chansey on Route 228 that you can battle and receive lots of EXP from. You will find it just below the Route 228 sign.
