Snorlax is a Pokémon that needs no introduction. You can get it in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, but you won't just find that lazy, adorable stud lying around. Instead, you'll need to evolve it from a Munchlax. You might be wondering where to catch a Munchlax.
To get a Munchlax and Snorlax in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you'll need to use Honey Trees, like a lot of Honey Trees. Munchlax has a 1% encounter rate, which makes him very hard to find. Worse still, in the original games you could only get it from specific honey trees based on your Trainer ID. It is unknown if this is true of the remakes.

Either way, that 1% encounter rate is enough to drive anyone crazy. It will be a chore to get your hands on a Munchlax and inevitably Snorlax. We recommend brushing each honey tree with any honey you find to increase your chances of catching one.
You might be wondering why you should bother catching a Munchlax. Not only will you need to complete your Pokédex, but Snorlax is a good all-purpose Pokémon. With strong HP and special defense and attack, it's a hard-hitting tank.
