Melee weapons in Fortnite, how to inflict damage with?

Melee weapons in Fortnite

Every week, Epic Games adds cards to complete, and one of the latest, that of Lycan, will ask you to perform several actions with melee weapons. For example, you will have to inflict damage on wildlife with a melee weapon or eliminate Cube monsters in the Detours with a melee weapon. As a result, a multitude of players today wonder what a melee weapon in Fortnite.

The melee weapons are basically all melee weapons that aren't firearms. As a result, bladed weapons such as knives or even baseball bats or tools are melee weapons. In Fortnite, unfortunately none of this is available, the only weapon that is not a firearm is the deck. That's good, it's also a melee weapon.


So you will have to inflict damage on animals with your pickaxe, but also on Cube monsters. Two solutions are available to you. You can go there directly with your pickaxe and heal yourself as soon as necessary, or finish the animal or monster with a weapon, or weaken it by shooting it and finish the animal or monster with your pickaxe (or n any collection tool). You are free to choose the solution of your choice.
