Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart offers a wealth of content for players to enjoy. Interdimensional arenas and herculean boss battles are just a few attractive features presented here. Those who want to enjoy a more difficult version of the game will definitely appreciate the Challenge mode. Unfortunately, Challenge Mode is not initially available to new Ratchet & Clank players. PlayStation 5 owners will need to earn the right to take on this tougher twist on the main story.

To unlock Challenge Mode, players will need to complete the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart main story in its entirety. It means seeing the story through to its end.

This new game plus mode features upgraded versions of base game weapons known as Omega Versions. Omega weapons can reach level 10 and can be further upgraded for better destructive output. These weapons will come at a steep price, however. Luckily, there is a Challenge Mode-exclusive Bolt Multiplier that boosts Bolt Yield.

Those hoping to unlock this mode quickly will be happy to hear that collectibles are not required to unlock it. No need to recover Spybots or Golden Bolts games. Saving these activities for a Challenge Mode is entirely possible, and players won't have to repeat the activities.
