In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Hisuian Samurott sports a black and red shell that covers the exterior of this Water-type starter, a departure from the original white armor. The shiny appearance of Samurott is remarkable as it looks almost identical to the design of the Unova variant.

The color change isn't the only change for Hisuian Samurott in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. According to the leaks, the water starter now has a Water/Dark type, making it a dual type starter when the Unovan Samurott was strictly a Water type.
