If you're tackling the Mass Effect Noveria mission, you've probably stumbled across the Mass Effect memory core puzzle. It's a tedious puzzle where Shepard has to move several "boxes" to restore Mira VI and continue his mission.
The easiest way is to spend 100 omni-gel and be done with it, but unless you're an engineer or an infiltrator, you'll want to save that omni-gel for other containers and locks later. Mass Effect Memory Core Puzzle Rules
If you want to try solving the puzzle yourself, the memory core puzzle has a few separate rules to follow:
- You can only move one box to another stack at a time
- When you pick up a stack box, it automatically picks up the top box and replaces it in the topmost slot when you drop it.
- You cannot transfer any box to a slot where there is a blue box above it
- You can only pick up one box at a time

The puzzle is as boring as it sounds, so we really don't recommend trying it for yourself.
The sequence to follow is long, and while the basic pattern is the same no matter what platform you play Mass Effect on, the buttons you press are different.
