"Use the recon scanner to spot an opponent" is a Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 week seven challenge. Find our tips to validate it. The fortnite challenges are always in the game for this 7 season, despite changes to the Battle Pass. Players are now used to it over time, they wait impatiently for Thursday 16 p.m. to discover these new challenges (except for this first week), which are very useful to them, since they can allow them to recover XP in order to to progress in the Battle Pass and unlock many cosmetics, such as outfits, back accessories or collection tools. One of these challenges will require you touse the recon scanner to spot an opponent.

Use the recon scanner to spot an opponent

The Recon Scanner is one of the new IO weapons that have recently become available and Epic Games asks you for this challenge to use it once to spot an opponent. As you will have understood, the hardest part of this challenge will be to find this famous recognition scanner.

There are several ways to get your hands on this weapon, but the safest and fastest is to go to an IO Outpost or Satellite Base and search IO Chests. If you want tranquility, we recommend for example the east of Believer Beach, where several chests of this kind are in the area. 

Once in possession of the weapon, go to an area where players are likely to be and use it. Note that it does not inflict damage, it simply launches a projectile to sweep the area in search of an opponent.
