As always, a battle pass is available, sold for 950 V-bucks, allowing you to recover many cosmetics. To unlock them, you must earn XP, which can be earned by completing several quests, but also to unlock some cosmetic rewards for your characters. One of these challenges will require you to collect ingots.
There are many ways to collect ingots in fortnite, the new currency introduced with this season 5. The latter is recoverable while playing and can only be used during the current game, to improve weapons or obtain information, for example. You have to go to the NPCs that are in the different towns and notable places to use these ingots.

It is not a premium currency, like V-bucks, rather think of it as a resource, like wood, stone and metal. It is also next to these three boxes that you will see the number of ingots at your disposal. However, you can accumulate them from one game to another.
