Eliminate IO Guards, Week 5 Challenge

Even if Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 offers a lot of new features with random quests, Epic Games does not forget the famous weekly challenges, which come out every Thursday at 15 p.m. These challenges allow players to collect XP in order to progress through the Battle Pass and unlock many cosmetics and skin variants. One of the challenges will ask you, in particular, toeliminate IO guards.

Where to find IO guards in Fortnite?

To easily complete this challenge, you must know that the IO guards spawn in a predefined way. That is, they are always in the same places. However, if you want to maximize your chances and eliminate as many as possible in no time, you have to operate strategically, opting for IO guards which are close to each other. This is why we advise you to focus on the southern part of the island and in particular the surroundings of Lazy Lake. Nevertheless, you will find them everywhere, their presence being materialized by a giant metal cube.

However, these IO guards won't be easy to beat, especially since they're always in groups of three. They are indeed equipped with a fairly large shield. Be sure to be equipped with good weapons to limit the risk of them killing you, especially since your shots could attract other players.
