FIFA 22: How to start well on FUT, beginner's guide

FIFA 22 is finally available, allowing many players to go to the FUT mode. For beginners, we have concocted a small guide, in order to get out of it and earn credits quickly enough. the FUT mode is, without a doubt, the most popular mode of FIFA and the one that benefits from more novelties every year, even if for FIFA 22 Electronic Arts does not seem to have drastically modified the mode, except for a few details here and there. It can sometimes be difficult to get started FUT, given the many information to assimilate, while trying to build a competitive team quickly. If this is your case, do not panic, we will give you some tips for start well on FUT, and this, without spending a single euro.

Indeed, it is possible to spend your money to obtain FIFA Points, but it is not necessary to spend your money to build you a competitive team, especially since nothing guarantees you to obtain good cards by paying. If you're new to FUT, here are some tips.

Getting started on FUT in FIFA 22

To get started, open your packs, and make your first XI. It will be weak, this is normal. Even if we do not recommend it for the development of your team, you can use your players who are on loan with you, but be careful, their number of matches is limited.

Even if this first team will not be the best and the one you will keep, try to make an eleven with a maximum of collective, which is very important in FUT. If you reach 100, you will validate a challenge, which allows us a transition with one of the most important points to start.

Accomplish the objectives

Indeed, very quickly, you will be able to validate some objectives, granting you either credits or packs. These two things are very important, since it will allow you, in any case, to improve your team. When you have completed several basic challenges, you should have a few more interesting days obtained in the packs. If you can, integrate them into your team, but if you think you won't use them, don't hesitate to sell them on the transfer market, in order to replenish the funds to replace them with players that you will integrate.

Improve your eleven with gold cards

Of course, thanks to all this, you will be at the head, if you were lucky, of a small fortune (a few thousand coins at most), allowing you to upgrade your eleven type. For this, you will be able to buy players, even packs, even if, in most cases, you will be losing financially.

Here, the goal is to create a team composed only of gold cards to allow you to make your first matches, mainly in Team Battles, since the rewards are interesting and the adversity less. Playing matches will allow you to earn some credits, which can of course be reinvested for better players, or packs.


Nevertheless, it is sometimes not very useful to sell your cards at low market value, since they can be reused for DCEs, Team Creation Challenges.

Do DCEs to collect cards and packs

While it may be difficult at first to do the more complicated DCEs without spending money, some just allow you to get rid of your cards. Here, you can trade a few cards in exchange for either interesting packs, credits or special player cards with boosted statistics.

That's why it's also important not to throw away unsellable cards, as they will serve you here.

In short, the important things to remember for start in the best way on FUT are the following :

• Make the challenges.
• Prioritize a collective of 100 or close to 100 very quickly.
• Don't buy big cards early on.
• Don't buy a pack early on.
• Play Team Clash matches (also allowing you to validate the challenges).
• Do the DCEs.
