Fortnite: How to tame wolves?

Fortnite Season 6 introduced wolves, which can be tamed. If you don't know how to do it, we explain everything to you. Like each start of the season on Fortnite, Epic Games has added several important new features. This season 6 includes, among other things, wild animals, including Wolves be part of. If they won't hesitate to attack you, know that you can easily tame them, in order to make it a brief traveling companion.

Taming Wolves in Fortnite

Le loup being a carnivore, it only eats meat. It is therefore no surprise that you will have to go in search of meat before trying totame a wolf. For this, several options are available to you: kill a boar (a pen is in Colossal Crops), chickens, north of this place for example, or a wolf. Once an animal is killed, you will recover a piece of meat, which is particularly useful.

When you have meat in your possession, you will have to find a wolf. Know that this is not going to be an easy task, considering that wolves are currently the rarest animals on the island. However, we find more towards Weeping Woods, at the level of the forest. On the spot, do not hesitate to fire shots, since the noise attracts them.

When you finally come face to face with a wolf, throw your piece of meat in his direction and wait for him to eat it. From this moment, approach him and press the indicated key to tame him. Do not delay, you only have a short time to perform the action. Once done, the wolf is tamed and will accompany you during the rest of the game.


Important note: you must not wear the hunter's cape before having tamed a wolf, since it leads the wild animals on false tracks.
