Fortnite: Wild animals, taming them and their spawn

With Season 6 of Fortnite, players were able to discover wild animals (wolves, boars, chickens and frogs). Find their spawn and how to tame them for those where it is possible to do so. Fortnite gameplay has evolved with season 6, called Primal Instinct, since wild animals have arrived in the battle royale, and have an important role. Indeed, they will allow you, if you kill them, to collect certain resources to improve your weapons, or even gain HP quickly with meat.

As of this writing, four types of animals are available: 

• Wolves
• wild boars
• Hens
• Frogs

Not everyone has the same interest and not everyone spawns in the same place. Back on how to find them easily and how to tame them, if it's possible.

Find wild animals in Fortnite

Wolves

These are probably the hardest animals to find and kill. We often find them in the woods of Weeping Woods, but these are quite rare. You can try to increase your chances of encountering them by firing shots. An eliminated wolf will bring you bones and meat.

We find them all over the island randomly. However, a paddock in Colossal Crops has several of them in each game. An eliminated boar will bring you bones and meat.

Hens

As with boars, we find them all over the map. However, the area north of Colossal Crops seems more conducive to finding them. As with other creatures, killing a chicken will bring you bones and meat. You can also use it to fly, or rather hover, if you manage to capture one.

Frogs

Unsurprisingly, you'll have to go near a water point to get your hands on a frog. There does not seem to be a place where the latter are more numerous. A killed frog will allow you to recover a stinking pouch, useful for crafting a primitive bow.

The kidnappers

They are, along with wolves, the most difficult animals to find and kill. Regarding their location, they are very often found in the orange zone and in the forests. An eliminated raptor will bring you bones and meat.

Taming wild animals in Fortnite

Currently, only two animals can be tamed, namely wolves and boars. For wolves, you will need a piece of meat, which you will have to throw in front of them to try to tame it, while for wild boars, the operation will have to be attempted with a fruit or a vegetable.
