Many items are available in Fortnite, and some of them are central to a challenge, such as the Decoy Grenade. We explain in our article how to block damage with this grenade. The decoy grenade debuted in Fortnite with Chapter 2 Season 2. Functioning the same way as the other types of grenades, the difference is that instead of exploding and inflicting damage, the latter will create a cloud of smoke from which a clone of your character will to go out. A good way to escape, or take advantage of your opponent in a situation that is then rather complicated for you.
To get players more familiar with this new throwable item, Epic Games has set up several challenges asking to use it, including one during the sixth week of challenges, which asks players to block damage with the decoy grenade .
Know that this challenge is far from complicated, given that it asks you to use this grenade and trick your opponents. Your clones will have to suffer a total of 100 points of damage for the challenge to be validated, which is quite easy. The most complicated thing will be, perhaps, to get your hands on this grenade.
