Well-respected Genshin Impact leaker @Ubatcha1 has revealed information indicating that Shadowy Husks will make their way into Genshin Impact 2.5 as a new threat to the people of Teyvat. According to the leaks, they will be found in the wild around Narukami Island, while spawning inside the Spiraling Abyss on its deepest floors. This information has not yet been confirmed by MiHoYo, but enough data exists in the 2.5 beta to give players an idea of what these towering numbers can do.
Shadowy Husks are dark humanoid creatures that appear to come in three variants, each wielding a different weapon and element: the Pyro Flag Bearer, the Line Breaker-wielding Hydro Spear, and the Cryo Sharpshooting Defender. Based on the additional information provided, these new enemies will even be able to create shields and heal each other, meaning the player's skills will definitely be tested against these abyssal threats.
Another reliable source for Genshin Impact leaks, @projectcelestia, said that defeating Shadowy Husks will reward players with a new type of weapon ascension gear. If the data collected from Beta 2.5 is accurate, Dark, Dark, and Deadly Statuettes can be obtained and used to upgrade the Kirin Bow weapon. From everything we've seen so far, Shadowy Husks will be an interesting new enemy with fun yet challenging mechanics.
