Within the dastardly Fatui organization, there is a fearsome military faction devoted to the Cryo Archons: the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. These eleven agents are exceptionally powerful beings, wielding vision-type illusions or otherworldly abilities to impose their authority and command legions of Fatui members. The Harbingers have been the main antagonists in Genshin's history thus far, carrying out plans that threatened the security of Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma in the name of their queen, the Tsaritsa of Snezhnaya.

The Fatui Harbingers respond directly to the Cryo Archon herself and act as the physical embodiments of her will, never hesitating to comply with her demands. Despite being so influential, only nine of the eleven Harbingers have been referenced in the game so far, and most of their backgrounds have been shrouded in mystery. So who are the Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact?

Pierro, The Fool, is the first of the Fatui Harbingers and their leader, as well as being the Cryo Archon's second-in-command. He is also the very first member of the Fatui organization in general and is responsible for recruiting many other Harbingers to the Tsaritsa's cause. Along with the recruitment, Pierro also appears to be in charge of handing out delusions to Fatui members, with Signora and Tartaglia both receiving their delusions from him.

Most of Pierro's past is still a mystery at this point, but the mocking mask artifact says a little more about him. Pierro is a wise man from an unknown land where he failed to win the king's favor which prevented him from other wise men from bringing destruction to the land. These events made him disillusioned and embittered towards the Divine, leading him to join the Tsaritsa in her mission against Celestia.

  • Artificial Archon Element: Electro
  • Delusional element: N/A

Scaramouche is known as The Balladeer, the sixth member of the Fatui Harbingers, and is probably the most enigmatic member of the group. He is an artificial being who was created by Raiden Ei in an attempt to revive his sister, but was deemed a failure and cast aside. At some point, Scaramouche was found by Pierro and given a home among the Fatui, becoming a Harbinger with the powers of an Archon.

Scaramouche was the mastermind behind the Vision-Hunt decree in Inazuma, causing a rift between Ei and his people. This eventually led Yae Miko to give Scaramouche the gnosis of the Electro Archon, forcing the Harbinger to flee Inazuma and retreat into the shadows. According to Childe, Scaramouche defected the Fatui Harbingers as a result of the incident and has not been reviewed since. Scaramouche will certainly return in the future, once his plans are ready to be implemented.

Rostam lost his life during the Calamity and Rosalyne's heart was engulfed in grief and rage, leading her to infuse her body with the art of liquid fire. She became known as the Crimson Witch, the woman who wished to watch the world burn.

Eventually, she was found by Pierro and convinced to join the Fatui organization, becoming the eighth member of the Fatui Harbingers and gaining a new alias – The Fair Lady. She was heavily involved in the plots to steal the gnosis of Venti and Zhongli before meeting her apparent demise at the hands of the Electro Archon.

  • Nickname: Childe
  • Vision Element: Hydro
  • Delirious element: electro
  • Weapon: Bow

Tartaglia, also known as Childe, is the eleventh member of the Fatui Harbingers. He is also the youngest, being recruited into the Fatui ranks at the age of 14 and rising through the ranks to Harbinger status. It was a fairly easy task for him, however, as Childe had a unique childhood - he lived in the Abyss for a short time and met an outsider who taught him how to fight and survive in the Abyss. When Childe finally managed to escape Teyvat, he had gained a fearsome new power and a thirst for battle.

Child was the main antagonist in the plot to steal Zhongli's Gnosis, unleashing the fallen god Osial on Liyue in an attempt to distract the traveler. Childe was eventually stopped through the combined efforts of the Adeptus, Liyue Qixing, and Traveler, saving Liyue from destruction.

He is a scientific genius and is known to have several research facilities across Teyvat, with the Traveler and Childe coming across one of them producing Ruin Guards during their travels.

Dottore was originally a student at Sumeru Academy, but found herself rejected and rejected by her peers because of her ideas. Pierro approached Dottore at some point in the past and offered her an invitation to join the Fatui and continue her research. Since his arrival, Dottore has made many scientific contributions, such as the modification of Scaramouche's body and research into the creatures of the Abyss. It is possible that this mad scientist even played a role in the creation of the Illusions used by the Fatui organization.
