How to detect an anemoculus nearby
When you approach an Anemoculum, a diamond-shaped symbol will appear on your game map indicating the location of the orb. In Liyue, the diamond symbol indicates where a geoculus is located. Placement of these Oculi can be tricky, often keeping the orb just out of sight or partially obscured by other objects, so be sure to scour the area well.
To make your search even easier, you can craft an Anemoculus Resonance Stone at any Elemental Crafting Bench in Teyvat. When activated, this stone scans for the existence of Anemoculus nearby and will highlight a specified area on your map where you can expect to find the Anemoculus.
