How Double Rebroadcast Banners Work in Genshin Impact

How Double Rebroadcast Banners Work in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact faces a problem when it comes to its growing number of characters. With the single banner rule, some characters wouldn't see replays for over a year. To combat this issue, MiHoYo has now introduced dual banners, so players have a higher chance of pulling their favorite character.

How Double Rebroadcast Banners Work

Dual Rerun banners are used to display two limited characters at once. Characters do not share a banner, but have their own banner. Here is the basic rundown of replay banners:

  • There are two different banners at once, both of replay characters.
  • The banners have the same featured four-star characters.
  • Replay banners can only be fired using Intertwined Fate.

How Pity Works on Replay Banners

Mercy is shared between banners, so be careful when switching between banners as they don't have their own counters. When the next special character comes out, your wish log will be transferred there.

Here is an example :

  • You shoot 10x at Ganyu's banner, then 20x at Xiao's, when Shenhe comes out, you'll get 30 Mercy Wishes.

Essentially, the system sees all replay banners and special character banners the same.
