Demon Slayer: Hinokami Chronicles faithfully tells the story of the first season of the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The game gives players a chance to take control of their favorite characters as they battle the story's many demons in harrowing boss battles. One of these fascinating boss battles pits Zenitsu against the older brother Spider Demon, but how can Zenitsu overcome this fight?

- The older brother Spider Demon begins the fight, attacking from a distance, causing his spider minions to appear to impede Zenitsu's movement.
- Use Zenitsu's signature move First Form: Thunderclap and Flash to close the distance between the boss and take out some of the spider minions.
- The spider demon older brother will attack from a distance using cobwebs and poison blasts while hanging from the trees, so dodge his attacks until he descends to the ground, as he is the only one place where Zenitsu can hit him.
- The poison will deal damage over time and the cobwebs will greatly reduce Zenitsu's movement speed, so beware of oncoming projectiles.
- Once the Spider Demon Elder Brother is on the ground, it will spit poison at Zenitsu in several straight lines, be careful of their paths, as a red line appears on the ground just before the boss attacks.
- Spider Demon Elder Brother will occasionally knock Zenitsu back with a gust of wind, but this defensive move does no damage.
- Dash the boss using special attacks like Thunderclap and Flash and light combos to stun him until he submits.
- After taking damage, the boss will flee to the trees. Keep dodging while taking out several of the spider minions to get energy to fill your boost gauge.
- Once the Spider Demon Elder Brother returns to the ground, it will try to distance itself from Zenitsu. Smash him with Thunderclap and Flash to prevent him from attacking.
- After each successful combo, the older brother Spider Demon will flee back to the trees again, so be patient and keep chipping away at his health as he heads for the ground.
- Make sure to start with a light combo and end with a special attack when hitting the boss, as this will deal the most damage while he's down.
- About halfway through the boss battle, the older brother Spider Demon will start jumping at Zenitsu from his wire in the air with an unblockable attack. You will recognize it when it is covered in a red aura. Dodge when this happens.
- The boss will also get a Surge which amplifies its attacks for an extended period. When he turns red after the screen closes on him, be ready to go defensive.
- The older brother will retreat into the trees and launch a flurry of poison blasts at Zenitsu until the influx ends, at which point he will be vulnerable. Use this opportunity to approach and strike.
- Once his health drops to the red notch in his health bar, players only need to complete the upcoming quick event to complete the boss fight and defeat the older brother Spider Demon
