How do you do a companion activity in each of the camps in Red Dead Redemption 2? Having fun with gang members in RDR2 is a huge part of the game's appeal, so you're going to want to make time to hang out with your friends on the way to your Platinum trophy. The “Friends with Benefits” trophy can only be unlocked between Chapters 2 and 4, and if you miss it, you will have to start a new game. Fortunately, you only need to complete one of these tasks per chapter. It is therefore very easy to unlock.



How to complete a companion activity in each camp in Red Dead Redemption 2

In order to complete a companion activity in each camp in Red Dead Redemption 2 and unlock the “Friends with Benefits” trophy, you must complete at least one activity in Chapter 2, Chapter 3, and Chapter 4. Then you only you won't be able to unlock it without restarting your game.

Chapter 2

  • Lenny: He's going to play Five Finger Fillet with you.
  • Javier: Talk to him at camp and he'll take you to a thief station in Valentine.
  • Charles: Want to hunt bison? Talk to Charles at camp.

  • Sean: He wants to steal a stagecoach. Who doesn't? Talk to him at camp to trigger this accompanying activity.
  • Bill: Like Sean, our brotherhood of thieves has something against wagon wheels. And not the ones with marshmallow and jam. Talk to camp to get things done.
  • Kieran: Chat at the camp to go fishing.
  • Javier: Another angling enthusiast, talk to Javier at camp to go fishing.

Chapter 4


  • Pearson: He wants to go hunting, so talk to camp to trigger that.
  • Lenny: Stage coaches yet? Talk to camp to go rob one.
  • Uncle: He wants to steal cows. Chat at camp to track this mission.

There are other associated activities that may appear. The best approach would be to always tackle at least one when you start a new chapter, just to make sure you unlock that “Friends with Benefits” trophy. It's also worth mentioning that the companion activity with Charles in Chapter 4, which is a bank robbery, can only be accessed if you've purchased the Red Dead Redemption 2 Special Edition with the DLC bonus missions.
