World of Warcraft is one of the most iconic names in gaming, fundamentally pioneering the MMO genre into what it is now. It has long been one of Blizzard's most popular and profitable games. However, Microsoft announced the acquisition of Activision/Blizzard, so some gamers may be wondering if World of Warcraft is coming to Gamepass.
That response is unknown, but Microsoft's press release states, "The acquisition also bolsters Microsoft's Game Pass portfolio with plans to launch Activision Blizzard games in Game Pass. It's unclear which Blizzard games will be coming to Gamepass at this time.

Other MMOs are available on Gamepass, which doesn't push World of Warcraft coming to Gamepass out of the realm of possibility. That would be huge, especially if the MMO came to Xbox. If that were to happen, Microsoft and Blizzard could still require a paid subscription in addition to Gamepass or remove it.
Unfortunately, there is no clear answer to this question yet. Microsoft will announce at some point when enough i's have been pointed and t crossed, but as of now no one knows exactly which Blizzard games are coming to Gamepass. If any news is announced, we will update this post!
